The Little Flower (Cherupushpam)

Saint Cherupushpam was a humble Carmelite nun from France whose life became a shining example of love, faith, and simplicity. Born on January 2, 1873, she dedicated herself completely to God at a young age and taught that holiness can be achieved through small acts of kindness, humility, and trust in God's love. This spiritual path, known as the "Little Way," encourages people to serve God faithfully in their everyday lives. Though she lived only 24 years, her writings and devotion inspired millions around the world. Canonized as a saint in 1925, Saint Thérèse is one of the most beloved saints of the Catholic Church and is affectionately known as "Cherupushpam" (Little Flower) in Kerala. Her life continues to inspire students, families, and communities to grow in faith, love, and service to others.
